Fabric: Cotton print; lace
This was the result of a sewing class I took freshman year of high school. Before Home Ec, I was pretty much self taught aside from a few instructions from my mom. The skirt pattern was mandatory, although I tried to dress it up with a little lace. In the end, though, the skirt looks like exactly what it is: a 14-year-old's creation. The sewing work, however, is probably the cleanest and most "correct" I've ever done, as the teacher made us redo everything until it followed the textbook definition, probably so she could keep us busy for the length of the quarter. If you are interested in repeating it, it is a McCall's pattern.
