Pattern: Simplicity's Misses Tops #2554
I've had this pattern in my stash for a while--I bought it because I had gotten a store-bought top in that style and loved it. But since then I had not sewn my own! Luckily, I have recently purchased a stack of blouse fabrics and am ready to get to work. My only problem is that I have a lovely yellow print, but I think the ruffles would be a bit much! Recently, however, I got inspired by this lovely blouse from adrie00. Based on the Pendrell Blouse, adrie00 created a beautiful edited down version of my favorite top.
Not only that, but the keyhole opening in the back seems like a great way to make my Simplicity Pattern, which is for stretch knits, work for woven fabrics.
