Last night I had a dream that
Laura Mae (whom I know in real life),
Peter Lappin (whom I do not), and I were all sitting around doing some hand sewing. It was a grand old time. And because I normally hate hand sewing, I know that my brain is definitely yearning to get back into sewing and blogging and hanging out with my favorite buddies - the sewing community.
I'm taking a break this month as I study for the GRE (graduate school entrance exam), but I hope to be back soon! In the meantime, please send your positive algebra thoughts my way! (That's a thing, right?!)
The geometry that I learned/forgotten as a freshman in high school killed me on the GRE, so I'll wish you luck with that!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! The GREs were definitely easier than the SATs- I'm sure you'll ace them.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I had to take Miller Analogies so I can't help you. But I'm sending good algebra vibes your way!
ReplyDeleteHooray for hand sewing! There has been a whole lot of that in my life lately. Good luck with the studies, and I hope you get to spend some quality time with your sewing machine soon!! And since there is a whole lot of math involved in garment construction, you are sure to pass with flying colors.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the GRE! When I took it, I found the Princeton Review books really helpful, and I also got a few books that weren't GRE-specific, but that reviewed basic algebra or were designed to help you learn new vocabulary. I still use a lot of those words frequently, and I'm not sure how I got by without them before!
