Our new bedroom is soft grey with a black accent wall at the head of the bed, and filled with neutral woods and furs and things. Since we need new bedding, I have been thinking that this might be the perfect opportunity to make a quilt. I would love to do a white, black/grey, and brown/tan color palette. ReplyDeleteI saw a black wicker chair with a sheepskin over it at IKEA and decided to decorate our bedroom based on that. So, I'm not sure I'll make a quilt, but I need to make a few pillows with black and tan in them. And they will be ikat.
I'm excited to see what you come up with!
I really like the first one and the herringbone pattern. The colors you are drawn to are just lovely!
ReplyDeleteI made a quilt that may fit your standards. I used a layer cake from Basic Grey's Little Black Dress which is a great neutral palette. It went together FAST! You can see pictures of it here
